BJJ: NLD Youth Going to NAGA

Coach Dave Barth started the trend and the youth is following.  The North American Grappling Association (NAGA) hosts submission grappling and BJJ tournaments world wide.  Our students should have a good grasp of wrestling (ground work) and judo (throws & submissions) and are now ready to put them to the test.

There are two NAGA tournaments coming up in October in our area.  If you are interested in entering either tournament please see a coach immediately to discuss your options.  NAGA offers gi and no-gi divisions.

This is phenomenal experience for judo students since chokes are allowed in AAU starting at 11-years old and in USA Judo at 13-years old.  Start putting your submissions and counters into practice early so you can work on your weaknesses and develop your strengths.

October 5th: NAGA St. Louis

"Expert Division" 1st Place winners win a NAGA Belt

"Non-Expert Division" 1st Place winners win a NAGA Sword

It is recommended you attend Coach Jesse's Sunday class (BJJ for judo) to boost your submission skills if you plan on competing in either of these events.

Note: No wrestler can enter as a NOVICE or a BEGINNER
